A female scientist investigate a penguin population. The female scientist ask the penguin1: "what do you do everyday?" The penguin 1: "eat, sleep & hit dong-dong." Rest of penguins also say: "eat, sleep & hit dong-dong." But the last Penguin says: "eat & sleep only." The female scientist asks the last Penguin: "why do you not hit dong-dong?" The last Penguin answers: "because I am dong-dong." (*we are all dong-dongs. How come everyone bully hit us?)
From Pinterest Website. A favourite sick pet dog Abbey dies. The child owner, 4 years old girl Rachael (I think that her name.) Rachael hears from her Mom, "your dog Abbey goes to Heaven to meet God". Rachael asks her Mom: "can I write a Letter to God, to ask Him to take care of dog Abbey." Her Mom says "ok. You tell me what to write, I write for you." Rachael's Letter to God: "Dear God, I have a pet dog his name is Abbey. He has died, I know he is with You. Please take care of him. Attached is a photo of him, just in case You do not recognize him. This letter words are by me, written by my Mom. Rachael." They sealed the Letter with a photo of the dog Abbey in an envelope, addressing to "God/Heaven" with their return address. Rachael paste a lots of stamps, she says: "it takes lots of stamps for this Letter to go Heaven." And post the letter. A week later, they received a parcel from God. Inside is a book, "When Your Pet Dies (I think that the book name)." The Letter from God reads: "Dear Rachael. Your dog Abbey is with Me. I take good care of him. As we do not have bodies in Heaven. I am returning your photo of Abbey. Attached is a book 'When Your Pet Dies', please read it. Your Mom is a very special Mom. I give Her specially for you. Signed, God." (Children should try sending letters to God/Heaven.)
Starfishes are washed to shore everyday to die drying. 1 girl is seen throwing starfishes into the sea. 1 man asks the girl: "there are thousands of starfishes on the beach. How can you possibly save all?" The girl just takes a starfish & throw it into sea, saying: "let this starfish be save." The man is touched & together started throwing starfishes like her saying at each starfish "let this starfish be save." Soon start a Movement, that many people in 1 day, throw finish thousands of starfishes on a beach. (*should we start a starfish Movement. If we try hard enough, no one will reincarnate into starfish.)
When a forest is on fire. All the animals run except one Sparrow. The Sparrow uses his mouth to dip 1 small branch of leaf in the lake & go to drop waters into the big forest fire. Flying repeatedly to & fro. 1 Heaven god asks the Sparrow: "how can those tiny waters save the forest fire." The sincere Sparrow says: "I must at least try my best." Touch, the Heaven god brings down rain to stop the fire. (*do you try to save your planet from the planet war fires?)
An old Emperor sends his Crown Prince Son to a Master to learn the Way of Governing people. The Master asks the Crown Prince to listen to all sounds in a forest. After 1 year, the Crown Prince returns telling all the sounds of the animals & nature in the forest. The Master: "not yet, you must go back & listen more." For the next year, the Crown Prince is unable to hear anything new. He wonders what the Master want. Suddenly, enlightened He goes back to the Master with sounds of sun, sounds of moon, ..... The Master: "yes, it is only when you can hear the sounds of silent things, then you know how to Govern the sounds of your people sufferings." (*are you able to hear all the sounds of sufferings?)
In ancient China, there is this big-size male who eats a lot. He eats so much that his family cannot support him & ask him to leave. Desperate, he go & find his rich friend. In no time, his best friend wealth get eaten up. His best friend tells him: "the only way to support you is you go join the army. The army has all the food to support you." Listening to his best friend, he joins the army. Because of his big-size, he is able to help the army win many battles & become a army General defending his country. (*you need to turn your weakness into strengths. Everyone is of great use, if you know how. Sometimes, you need a wise friend to guide you to become what you can be.)
French Emperor Napoleon starts from lowly soldier private to become a highly accurate artillery officer. With his Empress Josephine, he wins many battles & takes the whole Europe. Before every battle, he will go & ask Empress Josephine whether he will win battle. Empress Josephine will say: "Yes, you will win." Then he goes to battle & win every battle. However, after he wins the whole Europe, he wants to take Russia. He goes & asks Empress Josephine whether he will win the battle. Empress Josephine says: "No, you should not attack Russia." Not listening to his Empress, he goes & attacks Russia. He suffers total defeat. (*listen to your wise Empress.)
The China Dynasty Tang founder Emperor has a virtuous & wise Empress. This Emperor has a upright Official who criticizes his every mistake in the public. One time, when he returns to his inner palace. He is so angry, he tells his Empress: "I am definitely going to kill this Official." Hearing that, she disappears & returns with formal Empress palace-clothings & tell the Tang Emperor: "It is your happiness that you have such a upright official who tells your mistakes." Hearing that, the Tang Emperor calms down & agrees. With his virtuous Empress & this upright Official, he is able to build the big Tang Dynasty. After his virtuous Empress & this upright Official die, he makes many mistakes in weakening his Empire like attacking Korea & expanding his palace wives etc. (*you need a good Empress & upright Official to tell your mistakes.)
In ancient China, when a new Emperor comes into power. He does not go to daily Meeting with Official, just play his queens in inner palace. The country goes into turmoil, all those officials who mention his mistakes, are all put to death. Finally no one dare to speak up. After 3 years, an Official approaches him. The Emperor says: "If you are trying to lecture me, I will also put you to death." The Official says: "There is a big bird who does not fly for 3 years. What is he trying to do?" The Emperor understands & says: "You need not say further. Give me 3 days." After 3 days, the Emperor starts the first morning officials meeting & govern the country very well. (*you need to know how to speak to the Emperor.)
When soldiers are asked to march into the sea. British soldiers march into the sea & die. Singapore soldiers argue with officer & get fire-squad, die also. Japanese army marches on-the-spot & live to fight. (*this story will save your life one day.) (*Singapore soldiers have improved greatly under the leadership of Dr Tony Tan.)
A little tortoise goes for a job interview. He tells the boss: "there are only 2 things I do not know". "I do not know this. And I do not know that".) (*if I am the boss, I will employ him. I am also like the little tortoise. The more I know, the more I do not know this, I do not know that.)
A teacher asks: "who do not want to go Heaven?" A male student raises up his hand. When ask why, the student says: "because my father & mother say after school must go straight home." (*are you like the student? You do not want to go Heaven, because you want to go back your Earth home.)
A kid go late for job interview. He is the 25th kid in the queue. He almost cries because he knows he has no chance. He passes a note to the secretary. The secretary laughs & passes the note to the interviewing manager. The note writes: "please do not employ anyone until you have seen the 25th kid in the queue." (*the job goes to the best kid.)
A person serving sentence in prison is bored. He discovers an ant that can listen to all his verbal commands. After 10 YEARS of training, the ant is able to dance, somersault, breakdance & so on. Immediately when he leaves prison, he go to a bartender to showoff his ant. The person says: "bartender, look at this ant." The bartender kills the ant with one hand stoke. (*do not showoff your pet ant.)
A person moves from A to B because he "finds" people in A bad. When near B, he asks the stationing Zen Master: "is the people in B bad?" The Zen Master: "people in B is as bad as A." Hearing that he returns to A. After few years of Cultivation, he "find" the people in A good. The person again want to move from A to B. Ask the same Zen Master: "is the people in B good?" The Zen Master: "people in B is as good as A." (*people do not "change", you "change".)
An old man travels in a bus with beautiful flowers in his hands. A girl keeps staring at the flowers because she finds them beautiful. The old man when He is about to drop off the bus to the girl: "you can keep the flowers. I know you like them, because I find you always staring at them. The flowers are meant for my wife, giving to you I think she will understand." The girl received the flowers. The old man drops off from the bus near a cemetery. (*the flowers are meant for his dead Wife.)
A woman buys a pack of cookies & a magazine in an airport. When she sits down to read the magazine, she opens the pack of cookies which is on the seat next to her & begins to eat the cookies. But she discovers that when she takes one cookie, the guy next to her also take one cookie. She endured but really want to scold that guy who is eating "her" cookies. The guy gives her a smile & walk off when the cookies are finished. When she boards the plane, she discovers her pack of cookies in her handbag. (*she is the one eating other people's cookies, not the other way round.)
One time a Scholar turns into a bird crow by wearing a black crow costume given by a Temple god, because He is starving to death. By right, being a bird crow He should be able to catch fish to eat easier. But all his captured fishes are stolen-taken away from robber bird crows. He is still hungry. Then a Female Crow pity Him & give Him fishes to eat. The Scholar Crow & the Female Crow then become very loving husband & wife crows. The Female Crow asks the Scholar Crow: "you need to fly more careful as you are not use to it." The Scholar Crow: "ok." Then a naughty human in a boat shoots down the Scholar Crow. The Female Crow finding her husband Scholar Crow dead, cry out very very loudly. The other crows are very Angry as they always envy this Couple Crow. The other crows all together flap their wings to turn over the boat & drown the naughty human who shot down the Scholar Crow. The other crows: " 活该。因果报应。” (*if you see a BAD ACTION all you do not like, everyone must flap their "wings" to drown that person. 团结就是力量。)
