粤若稽古，圣人之在天地间也，为众生之先。
According observe history, a Sage in middle of Heaven & Earth, for first before common beings.
观阴阳之开阖以命物，知存亡之门户；筹策万类之始终，达人心之理；见变化之朕焉，而守司门户。
Observe Yin & Yang opening to comment things, know survive & death of door window (the Spot); planning all kinds of beginning & end, reach do people heart of laws; see changes of symptoms, and control door window (the Spot).
故圣人之在天下也，自古及今，其道一也。
Therefore a Sage under Heaven, since ancient to present, the Tao (way) one.
变化无穷，各有所归。
Changes no limit, each has its go to.
或阴或阳，或柔或刚，或开或闭，或弛或张。
Or Yin or Yang, or soft or hard, or open or shut, or relaxed or tight.
是故圣人一守司其门户，审察其所先后，度权量能，校其伎巧短长。
Therefore a Sage one guard the door window (the Spot), observe the first & later, measure power & calibrate capability, judge their advantages & shortcomings.
夫贤不肖、智愚、勇怯、仁义有差，乃可捭，乃可阖；乃可进，乃可退；乃可贱，乃可贵，无为以牧之。
People have good & not good, wise & stupid, courageous & coward, Ren (humanity) & Righteousness have difference, then can open, then can close, then can advance, then can withdraw, then can low-class, then can high-class, no action to guide with.
审定有无与其实虚，随其嗜欲以见其志意。
Judge fix have & have not & the real or fake, according to desires to see their ambitions.
微排其所言，而捭反之，以求其实。
Slightly rebuke their speech, & open then disagree, to seek the real.
贵得其指，阖而捭之，以求其利。
Valuable is that they point out, close then open with, to seek the benefits.
或开而示之，或阖而闭之。
Or open to inform with, or close to shut with.
开而示之者，同其情也；阖而闭之者，异其诚也。
Open & inform with persons, same the emotions; close & shut with persons, different in sincerity.
可与不可，审明其计谋，以原其同异。
Can or cannot, judge the planning, from source to same or difference.
离合有守，先从其志。
Different & same have rules, first from the ambitions.
